Palmer Griffin served as a classroom teacher, coach, athletic trainer, assistant principal, principal, director and assistant superintendent of operations during his 35-year career in education. He taught and was a building level administrator in Homewood City and Albertville City Districts in Alabama, and then served 24 years in Dalton Public Schools before retiring in 2012. Mr. Griffin earned his Bachelor of Science in education at Samford University and Master of Education and Education Specialist Degrees at the University of Montevallo.
