Marcy Hicks Phr

Marcy Hicks PHR, SHRM-CP has a strong background in human resources. Marcy currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources Operations at Daman, where they took over the administration of the immigration process and audited I-9s. Prior to this role, Marcy was the Human Resources Director at Daman, where they created public access files for H1B employees and verified documents for compliance.

Before joining Daman, Marcy worked as the Human Resources Manager at HTRI, where they authored an employee manual, revised job descriptions, and created an organizational chart. Marcy also held the position of Human Resources Manager at Montgomery County Hospital District, where they revamped the employee performance program, implemented an employee compliance hotline, and developed a new salary structure.

Earlier in their career, Marcy served as a Senior HR Generalist at The Woodlands Township, where they led the conversion to a new HRIS system and coordinated management training. Marcy also worked as the Human Resource Manager at Champions Golf Club, where they established guidelines for FLSA status and implemented in-house COBRA administration.

In addition, Marcy has experience as a Human Resource Generalist at David Weekley Homes, where they assisted in HRIS conversions, led a companywide United Way campaign, and received recognition as Team Member of the Quarter. Marcy's diverse background and experience make their a valuable asset in the field of human resources.

Marcy Hicks PHR, SHRM-CP completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication Studies at Texas Tech University from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their degree, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2006. Furthermore, they achieved the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in November 2015.
