Chia Chia Sun

Chia Chia Sun has a long and extensive career in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Chia Chia began their career in 2001 as Vice-President at SHI Consulting. In 2007, they moved to SHI Link as Managing Partner, where they were responsible for new and existing account business at big and medium-sized pharma and biotech in Canada and the U.S. In 2010, they joined TenX Biopharma as Chief Operating Officer, managing clinical trials staff, manufacturing vendors, regulatory consultants (US and EU), financial and administrative operations in the U.S., Canada and the EU. In 2011, they took on the role of Head of Canadian Operations at Azanta. In 2013, they were appointed CEO of Damiva Inc.

Chia Chia Sun has an extensive educational background, beginning with a BSc in Biophysics from the University of Toronto, followed by a BSc in Molecular Biology from McMaster University. Chia Chia then went on to earn two MSc degrees, one in Experimental Medicine from McGill University and the other in Bioethics from the same institution. Lastly, they completed an MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. Additionally, they have attended the Ontario Science Centre.
