Ali Almohammedi has a diverse range of work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Ali started their career in 1999 at SABIC - SHARQ in the Reliability Department. After working there for three years, they moved on to Jacobs Zate as an Electrical Engineer. Ali then worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Dammam Airports Company in similar positions before joining King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) as the Chief of Power Utilities and Lighting in the Equipment & Utilities Maintenance Department. Overall, Ali Almohammedi has an extensive background in electrical engineering and has held various managerial roles in the field.

Ali Almohammedi completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University from 1996 to 2003. Ali then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Oakland University from 2003 to 2005. Ali continued their education at New York University, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from 2006 to 2010. Ali also earned a Certificate in Wireless Communications during the same period. Ali further enhanced their expertise in electrical engineering by completing a Certificate in Power Electronics & Systems at New York University from 2006 to 2011. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals from 2011 to 2017. Currently, Ali Almohammedi is a PhD candidate at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering, which is expected to be completed between 2018 and 2024.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ali Almohammedi has obtained several certifications. Ali received a certificate from IBM in January 2019. Ali also holds multiple edX Verified Certificates, including ones for Google Cloud Computing Foundations: Data, ML, and AI in Google Cloud, Cloud Computing Fundamentals, Infrastructure in Google Cloud, and Networking and Security in Google Cloud, all obtained in March and April 2023. Furthermore, Ali earned a Verified Certificate for Using Python for Research from edX in December 2016, and a Verified Certificate for Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from edX in November 2016.
