Alain Vandewalle

Alain Vandewalle has worked in a variety of roles in the automotive and motorsport industries since 1994. Alain began their career at PSA Peugeot Citroën as an Electronics & Controls Project Leader in 1994. In 2000, they moved to Toyota Motorsport GmbH as a Software and Controls Project Leader. Alain then worked at Renault Sport F1 as an Advanced Systems Manager in 2001. From 2008 to 2013, they held various roles at Navistar, ArrayPower, and Wrightspeed, including Director Powertrain Control, Software and Electronic, Director Hardware Electronics Engineering, and Engineering Director. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at KPIT as an Embedded Systems Associate Vice President. Alain then moved to Alta Motors as a Sr Director Electrical Engineering and Control Systems from 2016 to 2018. Most recently, they have been working at Damon Motorcycles as a Sr Vice President Powertrain and Vehicle Dynamics since 2020.

Alain VANDEWALLE achieved a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ecole nationale supérieure de l'Electronique et de ses Applications between 1986 and 1991. In 2006 and 2008, they earned an Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from HEC Paris.
