Michael Yow has a diverse work experience in contracts and procurement roles. Michael has recently worked as the Head of Contracts and Procurement at Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG), where they also acted as the Head of Contracts and Procurement. Prior to that, they were a Procurement Manager at AGIG. Before joining AGIG, Michael worked as a Contracts & Procurement Professional at INPEX, where they focused on technology and information management. Michael also has experience in the mining industry, having served as a Contracts & Procurement Professional at Rio Tinto. Additionally, they have held roles at Curtin University, Synergy, Kinetic IT, the Department of Finance, Kingman Visual, REIWA, and The Real Hotel Company.
Michael Yow completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Curtin University, from 2006 to 2011. Michael also obtained several additional certifications, including a certificate of negotiation from ENS International and negotiation and influencing skills from ATI-Mirage Training & Business Solutions. In 2013, they earned the ITIL Foundation v.3 Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Additionally, they have completed courses such as Business Law Fundamentals for 'Non-Lawyers' from Clariden Global and a Foundation Diploma from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
