Job description

The Configuration Operations Engineer role is an important role at Damstra as you will be in charge of configuring and maintaining new and existing projects in the Damstra Product Suite.

Capabilities

In this position you will be processing focused and committed to ensuring that every project is setup exactly as per the requirements that were provided to you by the Configuration Coordinators.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Proficient in the functionality of all Damstra Products

  • Understand how to setup every aspect of every Damstra Product

  • Maintain good communication with the Configuration Operations Team Lead and the Configuration Coordinators.

  • Setup and configure the Damstra products exactly as per the requirements provided to you by the Configuration Coordinators or similar.

  • Complete tasks assigned to you through Damstra Systems (Teamwork, Zendesk etc)

  • Make changes to configurations for existing clients as per instruction from Configuration Coordinators and CSMs

  • Stay up to date with all products within the Damstra Product suite

  • Stay across changes to products that may add/change configuration requirements

  • Communicate internally via Zendesk to other teams in order to provide status updates on projects you are working on

  • Provide “lessons learnt” and training feedback to the implementation and other teams with a view to improve the configuration process

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in using standard software (Zendesk, Microsoft word etc.)

  • In-depth knowledge of using Microsoft Excel is preferred

  • Experience in being able to accurately follow requirements and provide feedback on ways to improve the configuration process for all products

  • Strong desire to develop a deeper technical comprehension of the systems; preferred but not mandatory to possess technical expertise

  • A positive and proactive approach, and strong rapport building skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.

  • Data entry experience within a corporate setting

  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision
