Luijies Rufon has a total work experience of over 12 years. Luijies started their career at West Contact Services, Inc. as a Customer Service Representative for CHASE Credit Card in 2007. Luijies then joined SyCip Gorres Velayo & Company (a member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited) in 2008 as an IT Risk and Assurance professional, where they gained experience in IT audit, including reviewing business processes, application and IT general control reviews, and utilizing Computer Assisted Audit Tools and Techniques (CAATTs). In 2012, Luijies Rufon joined Magsaysay Group of Companies as an IT Audit Manager, where they continued their work in IT audit until 2019. Since 2019, they have been working as the Global Data Protection Officer at Damstra Technology.

Luijies Rufon completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accountancy from the University of Santo Tomas - Alfredo M. Velayo College of Accountancy from 2003 to 2008.
