Paul Hempsall

Paul Hempsall has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Paul began their career as a Network Administrator at Western Sydney ITeC in 1996 and then worked as an IT Support and Web Developer at Weitech Information Systems from 1998 to 2001. From 1996 to 2010, they owned their own company, Rogue Multimedia.

In 2001, Paul joined Lake Macquarie City Council and held various roles including Web Developer and later Web Systems Administrator. Their responsibilities involved managing web-based systems and services, including the council's websites, intranet, and web components of the Council's Online application suite. Paul also had project management duties.

Since 2018, Paul has been working at Damstra Technology, initially as a Project Manager and later taking on the role of Head of Innovation in March 2021. As a Project Manager, they were responsible for project planning, tracking, and reporting, coordinating internal and external resources, and managing client relationships. In their current role as Head of Innovation, they focus on brainstorming and researching new solutions, formulating innovative strategies, analyzing existing practices, and finding ways to introduce promising ideas into the company's plans.
