Lucas Balistreri

Lucas Balistreri, MEM, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Lucas started their career as a General Service Technician at Tire Man, where they gained hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance. Lucas then worked as an Automotive Technician at Mikes Restoration, specializing in the restoration of high-end vehicles.

In 2011, Balistreri took on a part-time role as an HVAC Technician at Clean Air Systems, installing exhaust gas extraction systems in fire stations. During this time, they also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Guardian Industries, where they gained valuable experience in manufacturing and process flow.

In 2014, Balistreri joined Dana Incorporated as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, working on Central Tire Inflation Systems for military applications. Here, they filed their first patent and gained exposure to product development and testing. Lucas later transitioned to various roles within the company, including Associate Engineer, Advanced Axle Development Engineer, and Commercial Vehicle Electrification Advanced Applications Engineer.

In 2021, Balistreri joined L3Harris Technologies as a Senior Systems Engineer, Proposal Management, responsible for leading the development of competitive bid opportunities. Lucas focused on technical volume creation, cost volume development, and process improvement projects.

Currently, Balistreri is employed at Dana Incorporated as the Lead Electrification Global Manufacturing Engineer - Inverters. Lucas leads the global manufacturing of high-volume inverters and motors, managing a team of engineers and overseeing DFM/A studies, CAPEX strategies, and asset launches.

Lucas Balistreri completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology from Bowling Green State University from 2011 to 2015. Lucas then pursued a Master of Engineering Management degree at Ohio University, along with an Engineering Leadership Certificate, from 2018 to 2020.
