Robert Hursh has extensive experience in materials engineering, beginning with a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from the University of Cincinnati. Since July 1987, Robert has held various positions at Dana Incorporated, progressing to Sr. Manager of Materials Engineering, overseeing material specification, testing, failure analysis, and project management for both electrified and conventional powertrain products. Previous roles include Manager of Materials Engineers and Chief Metallurgist for the Spicer Driveshaft Division, focusing on a range of materials such as steel, aluminum, and ductile iron, as well as processes like welding and heat treatment. Earlier experience includes a Metallurgical Engineering Co-op at Aerojet Ordinance Company, specializing in foundry and mechanical engineering.
