Guillermo Salas Fernández has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Guillermo co-founded Danelfin in 2016 and served as the CTO. Prior to that, they worked as the Responsable Técnico at Fanscup from 2011 until 2021. Guillermo also worked as a Programador PHP Senior at Grupo Intercom from 2011 to 2021. Additionally, they held positions such as Danel maker at Danel in 2016, Responsable de desarrollo PHP at OptimoClick.com from 2010 to 2011, and Analista-Programador at STidea from 2007 to 2010. Other roles include Programador PHP y Arquitecto de sistemas at Atlas Copco in 2006 and Analista de sistemas at Cadena SER in 2006.

Guillermo Salas Fernández completed their Técnico en explotación de sistemas informáticos degree in Computer Engineering from JOYFE in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Técnico superior de desarrollo de aplicaciones informáticas degree in Computer Engineering from CEPAL. In 2009, they began their Licenciatura en ciencias físicas degree in Physics and Informatics from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. and successfully completed it in 2014.
