Marek Jarzęcki

Marek Jarzęcki, PhD has extensive work experience in the finance and consulting industry. Marek currently serves as an Investment Director at Danica Pension. Previously, they worked at A.P. Moller - Maersk as a Senior Investment Advisor, where they played an active role in developing business cases and investment proposals for the company. Prior to that, they held managerial positions at Deloitte Danmark and worked as a Senior Consultant at SAWYER Doradztwo Gospodarcze Sp. z o.o. Marek also gained experience as a PhD researcher and lecturer at Poznan University of Economics. Additionally, they have worked as a Consultant at 4CONSULTING Sp. z o.o., Grant Thornton Poland, and DGA S.A. throughout their career.

Marek Jarzęcki, PhD, obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Corporate Finance from Poznan University of Economics and Business in the years 2012-2018. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Finance and Accounting at the same university from 2010-2012, and their Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from 2007-2010. In 2009, Marek also participated in an Exchange Programme at Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences, where they studied Betriebswirtschaftslehre (BWL). Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as the ILPA Institute's Operational Due Diligence for the Limited Partner, the Alternative Trading System Adviser Certificate from Warsaw Stock Exchange, and the Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung (C2) from Goethe Institut.
