Abbey Rimel

Abbey Rimel currently serves as the Community Outreach Manager at Daniel Boone Regional Library, overseeing outreach services with initiatives such as memory care kits and expanded bookmobile services. Prior experience includes the role of Deputy Director at Wolfner Library, managing staff and fostering connections with patrons and social service organizations in Missouri. Abbey held leadership positions as President of both the Missouri River Regional Library Board of Trustees and the Jefferson City/Cole County Library Board. Additional experience encompasses editing for the Administrative Rules at the Missouri Secretary of State and serving as Reference Librarian at the Missouri State Library. Abbey's educational background includes a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, along with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature.
