Shwan Rstam

Shwan Rstam is an experienced security professional with a comprehensive background in counterterrorism and personal protection. Currently serving as a Security Specialist at Daniel Defense, Inc. since April 2017, Shwan previously held the role of Counter Terrorism Group (CTG) Officer from May 2011 to April 2016, where responsibilities included intelligence collation and the planning of counterterrorism operations within Diyala Province, Iraq, for the Kurdistan Region Government (KRG). Before that, Shwan worked as a Multi Language Translator for Global Linguist Solutions from January 2007 to June 2011, providing interpretation services for US special forces and commanders in the same region. Earlier experience includes serving as a Personal Protection Officer for the KRG Council of Ministers from February 2005 to December 2006, focusing on the protection of senior government officials.
