Elly Smokler

Elly Smokler is an accomplished Event Manager and Improv Teacher with extensive experience in various roles within the performing arts and event management sectors. Currently serving as an Event Manager at Wide Angle Group since January 2023, Elly expertly oversees a team of 20 Brand Ambassadors for Pollstar Live 2023 and acts as the liaison between clients and event teams. Elly also teaches improv at ACTORS TECHNIQUE NEW YORK and holds positions as an Improv Trainer at Laughter On Call and Event Project Manager at Improv joy!. In addition, Elly has a background in acting and blogging, with professional roles in film, stage, and commercial projects. An impressive educational background in comedy-improv, theatre, and performance includes training at The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade, alongside a Bachelor of Science from Skidmore College.
