Kylia Kummer

Kylia Kummer, CFRE, currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund since January 2025. Previously, Kylia held multiple leadership roles at Thrive Scholars, including Chicago Executive Director and Director of Corporate Partnerships, from November 2020 to December 2024. Kylia also worked at the Chicago Children's Museum as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations from July 2018 to November 2020. Other experiences include Managing Director and Director of Programs at Turning the Page, Social Science Specialist at Chicago Public Schools, and various positions at the Chicago Children's Museum. Kylia began a career in education as Education Director at Mosaic Templars Cultural Center and as Teacher/Department Chair at The Episcopal Collegiate School. Kylia earned a Bachelor's degree in History from Hendrix College.
