Dr. Michael Skorianz has held various roles throughout their work experience. Dr. Michael is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Danieli Corus since May 2018. Prior to this, they worked at thyssenkrupp Steel as a Project Manager and Process Engineer from November 2013 to May 2018. Dr. Michael also worked as a Researcher and Project Leader at the University of Leoben from September 2009 to October 2013. Dr. Michael Skorianz has a diverse education history. Dr. Michael began their studies at RWTH Aachen University in 2007, focusing on metallurgy, metals technology, and material engineering. From 2002 to 2009, they attended Montanuniversität Leoben, where they pursued a MSc/Dipl.-Ing. degree in Metallurgy, Metals Technology, and Industrial Economics. In 2009, they continued their education at Montanuniversität Leoben and achieved a PhD/Dr. degree in Process Engineering and Iron- and Steel Technology in 2012. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Dr. Skorianz enrolled at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, obtaining an MBA in General Management. Most recently, from 2016 to 2021, they attended Columbia Business School for the Executive Program in Business Excellence, resulting in a CIBE degree.
