Roar Skau Olsen is a highly experienced sound designer and industry professional with a robust background in film and television sound production. Currently serving as a Senior Sound Designer at Sequoia Global Alliance while also being a member of the admission committee at Den Danske Filmskole, Roar co-founded Tonemestrene Aps, a leading Scandinavian sound postproduction facility. Roar's expertise also extends to leadership roles, including chairing the trade union for Danish film and television workers and serving as a council member for the Kort og Dokumentarfilms Rådet at Det Danske Filminstitut. With a Master of Fine Arts in Sound Design from The National Danish Filmschool, Roar has significantly contributed to various notable projects, including supervising sound design for the acclaimed series The Sommerdahl Murders.

Danish Film Institute (DFI)

The Danish Film Institute (DFI) is Denmark's national agency for film and cinema culture, operating under the Ministry of Culture. We allocate subsidies for the development, production and distribution of Danish films as well as international co-productions. Support programmes also extend to film education and international promotion at film festivals. The DFI includes a library, a stills and posters archive and a film archive. The DFI Film House is open to the public and houses the national Cinematheque.
