Ian Berg Sonne

Ian Berg Sonne is a seasoned GIS and data management professional with extensive experience in various capacities within government agencies. Currently serving as a Specialkonsulent at Geodatastyrelsen since June 2021 and at Miljøstyrelsen since October 2018, Sonne has developed a strong expertise in GIS and IT roles from previous positions at Geodatastyrelsen / Kort & Matrikelstyrelsen and MC Aalborg Miljøministeriet. With a foundational education in Natural Geography, earning a Cand. Scient. degree from the University of Copenhagen, Sonne has contributed significantly to the field of geospatial information systems since 1993.
