Elise Bjerkrheim

Elise Bjerkrheim is a skilled program coordinator with extensive experience in humanitarian aid and project management, currently serving at DIGNITY - Danish Institute Against Torture, focusing on the MENA region since August 2023. Prior to this role, Elise held various positions at Save the Children Denmark from August 2018 to August 2023, including Senior Country Engagement Manager and Country Engagement Manager for West Africa, where responsibilities included quality assurance, monitoring, fundraising, and donor compliance. Elise's background also includes significant roles at the Danish Red Cross and ICRC, encompassing program coordination, strategic planning, and relief operations across West and Central Africa, as well as experience in negotiation and advocacy related to protection programs.
