Duc Bang Nguyen

Duc Bang Nguyen is an experienced professional with a strong background in humanitarian and development programming, currently serving as a Portfolio Advisor at the Danish Red Cross since May 2022. Previous roles include Head of Mission for Première Urgence Internationale in Lebanon, where Duc Bang Nguyen oversaw program development addressing a multifaceted crisis, managed a substantial budget, and led a large team. As Country Director and Country Representative at ACTED, responsibilities involved strategic planning, fundraising, and project implementation across various humanitarian initiatives. Earlier experience includes program management for Cameleon Association's Typhoon Haiyan reconstruction efforts and technical consulting in civil engineering with SOCOTEC and Freyssinet. Duc Bang Nguyen holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from INSA Strasbourg, completed in 2010.
