Muqim Abbasi

Muqim Abbasi has a diverse work experience in finance and audit roles. Muqim started their career as an Audit & Assurance Associate at Deloitte Pakistan in November 2008 and worked there until May 2012. Muqim then became a Supervisor in Audit and Assurance and later an Assistant Manager at the same company, working until March 2014.

In March 2014, Muqim joined the Danish Red Cross as a Finance Manager in Pakistan, and they held this position until December 2015. From January 2016 to August 2019, they worked as a Finance Manager for Afghanistan and Pakistan at the same organization.

In September 2019, Muqim became a Regional Finance Delegate in the MENA region, a role they held until March 2020. Muqim then moved on to become a DanishRC & NorwegianRC Joint Country Finance Delegate in Iraq from April 2020 to April 2022. Lastly, they assumed the position of Head of Finance in Ukraine in May 2022, a role they currently hold.

Muqim Abbasi obtained their Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. No specific field of study was mentioned.
