Thomas Krause

Thomas Krause has had a diverse work experience in the field of economics. Thomas started their career as a Dr. rer. pol. at the Halle Institute for Economic Research and Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg in 2013. Thomas held this position until January 2018. Following that, they worked as a Forscher (Postdoktorand) at the Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung Halle (IWH) from April 2018 to June 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Research Economist at Danmarks Nationalbank, starting from August 2021.

Thomas Krause pursued their education in the field of Economics. From 2007 to 2013, they attended Leipzig University and obtained a Master's degree in Economics. Additionally, in 2008 and 2009, they attended Ohio University with a focus on Financial Economics, although they did not complete a degree at that institution.
