Antonios Makrygiannis has over a decade of experience in product development and management within the food industry, currently serving as Team Leader and Portfolio Owner for Whey and Specialties at Danone Nutricia Research since August 2013. In this role, Antonios oversees the portfolio of whey and specialties specifications for specialized nutrition, coordinating secure project activities and raw material monitoring. Previous positions at Danone include leadership roles in consumer-driven innovation for infant milk product development, as well as senior product technologist roles managing global innovation and renovation projects. Prior to Danone, Antonios worked as a product developer at HJ Heinz and gained experience in various roles, including an internship and trainee positions in notable organizations. Antonios holds an MSc in Food Technology from the European Master in Food Studies program and a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Harokopio University.
