Mireia Vilalta

Mireia Vilalta is an experienced professional in R&D and sustainability, currently serving as the R&I Sustainability Leader for Europe at Danone since January 2011, following the role of R&I Packaging Manager for Essential Dairy and Plant-Based products. Prior to joining Danone, Mireia held the position of Group Head of Packaging Materials Technology at Boehringer Ingelheim from January 2006 to December 2010, and worked as R&D Packaging Manager at PANRICO DONUTS from 2004 to 2006. Mireia holds a degree in Ingeniero Técnico Diseño Industrial with a focus on Packaging Development from Elisava School of Design and Engineering (1997-2000) and has completed a Circular Economy Masterclass at IQS and the University of Exeter.
