Lisa Thompson Chartered FCIPD has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade and a half. Their most recent position was with Danske Bank UK, where they served as the Head of People Services. In this role, they worked closely with the Senior Leadership to support the bank's vision of becoming the Best Bank in Northern Ireland. Prior to their roles in the financial sector, Lisa worked at Capita Business Services as the Head of Client Services, where they led the recruitment team for the BBC North project and played a crucial role in the design and implementation of an innovative talent pool process. Lisa also led the transition of recruitment services to a newly established HR Direct Shared Service Centre.

Lisa began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Consultant, where they were involved in a project to transform and modernize personnel services for a public sector organization. Their role focused on designing future state resourcing processes aligned with a Shared Service Centre model.

Lisa further pursued their education at Queen's University Belfast and completed their Master of Science degree in Occupational Psychology from 2000 to 2001.
