Matt Clements

Matt Clements has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Matt is currently working as the Head of Balance Sheet Management at Danske Bank UK since March 2020. Before that, they worked at TSB Bank as the Senior Manager for ALM Reporting and Modelling from September 2018 to March 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at TSB Bank, including Programme Manager for Migration in ALM, Liquidity Reporting, and Securitisation, Head of FTP, and Head of ALM Mortgages. Matt also has experience working at EY as a Senior Manager in FS Risk, Treasury and Liquidity, and as a Manager in Financial Services Risk Management. Matt initially started their career at the Financial Services Authority, where they worked as a Senior Associate in Investment Banks Supervision, and later as an Associate in International Strategy and Policy Coordination and Small Firms Supervision. Matt's experience also includes a secondment to EMEA Corporate Treasury at Citi. Matt began their career as an Internal Sales Coordinator at UPM-Kymmene.

Matt Clements attended Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School from 1994 to 2001. Matt then went on to study at The University of Edinburgh from 2001 to 2005, earning their MA Hons degree with a 2:1 in Politics.
