Robert McClements

Robert McClements has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Robert began their career at National Australia Bank in 2001, where they held the position of Senior Executive in Corporate & Institutional Banking until 2004. Robert then joined Danske Bank UK in 2004, starting as a Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking and eventually becoming a Senior Corporate Banking Relationship Manager. In 2011, they were promoted to the role of Head of Business Banking for Greater Belfast and also led an organizational change project as a Workstreams Lead. In 2013, they moved to Danske Bank and took on an international secondment in Group Corporate Credit. Robert later returned to Danske Bank UK, where they held the role of Senior Credit Manager in Corporate Banking Relationships. Currently, they are the Head of Corporate & Business Credit at Danske Bank UK.

Robert McClements completed a BA (Hons) in Accounting from Ulster University between 1994 and 1999. In 2001 and 2002, they pursued further education at The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) and obtained a degree in Futures & Options with a focus on commodities & derivatives. Prior to these achievements, they attended IOB from 1986 to 1990 and earned a Professional Diploma in Accounting, Economics & Law.
