Emil R.

Emil R. is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Chief Legal Counsel at Danske Bank since September 2024. With extensive experience in law, Emil has held various roles including Senior Lecturer in Law and course leader at Niels Brock since August 2013, and External Lecturer in Tort and Contract Law at Det Juridiske Fakultet, Københavns Universitet since January 2016. Prior to the current position at Danske Bank, Emil worked as an Attorney-at-law at DI - Dansk Industri from June 2019 to September 2024, specializing in labor and employment law as well as data protection law. Emil's earlier experiences include positions at Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten and Accura Advokatpartnerselskab, along with pro bono work at Københavns Retshjælp. Academically, Emil holds a Master of Laws from Københavns Universitet and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Commercial Law from Copenhagen Business School.
