Steve Armstrong-Godwin

Steve Armstrong-Godwin is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in incident response, threat management, and instruction. Currently serving as the Lead of Security Incident Response and Threat Management at Danske Bank since June 2022, Steve provides leadership and direction for security incident response functions. As a Principal Instructor at SANS Institute for over 18 years, Steve teaches the SEC504 Incident Handling and Hacker Techniques course. Previously held significant roles at Electronic Arts, including Incident Management Technical Director and Director of Incident Response Operations, where Steve led global incident response efforts. Steve founded Logically Secure Ltd, overseeing cybersecurity service development while ensuring top-tier training and resources for the team. Additional educational contributions include lecturing at Westminster University and a military background with the RAF, focusing on IT security tasks and systems accreditation. Steve holds an MSc in Computer Security from the University of Westminster.
