Henrik Skaarup Andersen

Henrik Skaarup Andersen has a diverse work experience in software development, starting in 2007 at Mjølner Informatics as a Student Programmer while completing their M.Sc. in Computer Science. Henrik later worked as a Software Developer, Architect, and IT Consultant at Mjølner Informatics from September 2008 to February 2013. During this time, they demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and a strong desire for self-improvement by leading and participating in study groups and communities.

In 2013, Henrik joined Danske Commodities as a Lead Software Developer before progressing to the role of Senior Manager, Head of Software Development in January 2014. In this role, they served as a passionate people manager for a talented team of software developers while also actively coding as a lead developer. Additionally, Henrik managed a large portfolio of systems that were either developed by him or their team.

In April 2022, Henrik was promoted to Director, Head of Software Development at Danske Commodities, where they currently hold this position.

Henrik Skaarup Andersen pursued their education in Computer Science at Aarhus University from 2003 to 2008, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the field.
