Peder Møller

Peder Møller has a diverse work experience. Peder is currently working at Danske Commodities as the Manager and Head of Long Term Automated Trading, a role they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Danske Commodities from March 2019 to February 2023.

Before joining Danske Commodities, Peder worked at Nordea Markets as a Senior Analyst from November 2012 to March 2019. In this role, they were responsible for Nordea's Danish Mortgage Bonds model and performed quantitative and analytical tasks.

Peder has also worked as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at DONG Energy from September 2009 to November 2012.

Additionally, Peder has experience in academic research. Peder worked as a Post Doc at the Optical Tweezers Group and the Niels Bohr International Academy within the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen from September 2008 to September 2009. In these roles, they focused on studying the non-equilibrium dynamics of unfolding and refolding of RNA pseudoknots using Jarzynski and Crooks relations.

Peder's academic background includes a PhD in yield stress fluids from the Laboratoire de Physique Statistique at Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris. Peder completed their PhD from September 2005 to August 2008, with a specialization in thixotropic yield stress fluids.

Peder Møller began their education at Lemvig gymnasium from 1996 to 1999, where they completed their secondary education. Peder then went on to attend Aarhus University from 2000 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics and mathematics. Peder continued their studies at the University of Chicago from 2003 to 2004, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics with a focus on Fluid Dynamics. Peder then pursued their doctoral studies at Ecole normale supérieure from 2005 to 2008, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics, specializing in Rheology of Complex Fluids, particularly Thixotropic Yield Stress Fluids.
