Ramesh Dhanakkody

Ramesh Dhanakkody has a diverse and extensive work experience in the IT field. Ramesh started their career as a System Admin/Analyst at Kauvery Hospitals in 2001 and later worked as an IT Administrator at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. from 2004 to 2005. In 2006, they joined international inspection services ltd as an IT Assistant, troubleshooting computers and managing data backups.

From 2006 to 2011, Ramesh worked at Mediclinic Middle East as a System Administrator, where they were responsible for the IT infrastructure and the acquisition of new clinics. Ramesh then moved to Burjeel Hospital as a Lead System Administrator, leading development projects and maintaining the IT infrastructure.

In 2012, Ramesh joined Gastro Care Hospital as an IT Specialist, overseeing the development of analytical reports, implementing server migrations and upgrades, and managing technical solutions. Ramesh then worked at ART MARINE LLC as an IT Technical Support Manager from 2013 to 2019, where they upgraded the company's ERP system, implemented Salesforce, and managed office365 hosting.

From 2019 to 2021, Ramesh served as an IT Manager at Aldar Marinas LLC, where they conducted a hybrid migration to Office 365 and implemented new software versions across all marinas.

Currently, Ramesh is working at Dante Genomics as an IT & Bioinformatics Manager. Their role involves designing and installing infrastructure for the laboratory's NGS platform, developing processing pipelines, analyzing complex datasets, and implementing web applications for data interaction. Ramesh also has experience with various gene sequencing technologies such as PacBio, Nanopore, and Illumina.

Throughout their career, Ramesh has demonstrated their expertise in IT management, system administration, infrastructure development, and project leadership.

Ramesh Dhanakkody has an extensive education history. Ramesh obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in IT Systems from Madurai Kamaraj University, graduating in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software and Media Applications from the same university, graduating in 2008. Ramesh also holds a Diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Electronics and Communications from Tamilnadu College of Engineering, which they completed from 1996 to 1999. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Singhania University, starting in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Ramesh has acquired numerous certifications. Ramesh obtained a Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft in November 2021. In April 2021, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Ramesh also completed the Intermediate Marina Management Course from GLOBAL MARINA INSTITUTE LIMITED in July 2020. Earlier certifications include Salesforce Administrator Certification in January 2016, ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management in November 2015, Microsoft Certified IT Professional in August 2010, Systems Administrator certification from Microsoft in June 2009, CCNA certification from Cisco in August 2003, and Systems Engineer certification from Microsoft in August 2003.
