Mircea-Constantin Scheau

Mircea-Constantin Scheau is an experienced professional with a diverse background in research, security, and mediation. Currently serving as an Expert at the National Bank of Romania since October 2016, Scheau holds multiple academic and advisory roles, including Editorial Board Member at Springer Nature Group and Honorary Associate Researcher at both Babes-Bolyai University and the University of Craiova. In addition, Scheau is an Associate Researcher at Danubius University Galați and a Researcher at Constanta Maritime University. Recently appointed President of the Cloud Security Alliance Romania Official and Advisory Board Member at the Maritime Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, Scheau is dedicated to enhancing cyber security culture. Scheau also contributes as an Associate Expert at the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Public Order and National Security from „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Police Academy and various degrees in law, economics, and engineering.
