Lana Schwartzman

Lana Schwartzman is the Chief Compliance Officer at Dapper Labs. Lana has over seven years of experience in the compliance and risk management field.

Prior to joining Dapper Labs, Lana was a Manager at Grant Thornton LLP where they led teams of professionals in executing annual independent testing of BSA/AML and OFAC programs for various Bitcoin exchange companies, banks, and foreign banking organizations. Lana also developed an internal audit manual for a crypto currency exchange trust company and assisted in drafting revised language for policy and procedures enhancements.

In their role at Dapper Labs, Lana is responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Lana also oversees the development and implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures.

Lana Schwartzman has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University in Finance and Law. Lana also has certification from Chainalysis Inc. in Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification and from ACAMS in Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).

They are on a team with Mickey Maher - SVP, Platform & Blockchain Partnerships, Dieter Shirley - CTO, and Scott Shipman - Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary. Their manager is Roham Gharegozlou, Co-Founder & CEO.
