Nicole McCormack's work experience encompasses a wide range of roles in the engineering field. Nicole currently serves as a Principal Controls Engineer at DAPR Engineering, LLC since March 2023. In this role, they tackle innovative automation challenges across multiple industries and engages in industry research and innovation. Prior to this, Nicole worked as a Technical Project Manager/Electrical Engineer at DAPR Engineering, LLC from June 2021 to March 2023, where their responsibilities included managing schedule, budget, and scope creep with external customers.

From June 2016 to June 2021, Nicole worked at Amazon Robotics as a System Support Engineer V, HW Technical Lead. Here, they broadened their horizons by delving into the complex Amazon Robotics solution at a system level and implemented EIP for a robotic work cell on an Allen Bradley PLC. Nicole also worked on hardware reliability and explored software design.

Nicole has also gained experience as an Electrical Engineer, working as an Independent Consultant from December 2015 to May 2016 and as an Independent Contractor from November 2015 to May 2016. Additionally, they served as a Principal Controls Engineer at Ambri from March 2015 to September 2015, where they worked on controls for the energy storage industry using Allen Bradley PLCs, CMORE HMIs, and HMS Industrial Networks CANOpen to Ethernet cards.

Nicole's previous roles include Senior Electrical Engineer at Kiva Systems from November 2012 to March 2015, Electrical Engineer III at GT Advanced Technologies from September 2008 to November 2012, Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer at ZanAqua Technologies Inc (formerly Ovation Products) from October 2006 to September 2008, and Senior Hardware Engineer at Ambient Corporation from December 2003 to October 2006.

Nicole began their career as a Design Engineer and later a Test Engineer at Vitesse Semiconductor from June 1999 to July 2002 and from January 2000 to June 1999, respectively. Throughout their career, Nicole has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of electrical engineering, including controls, hardware and software design, project management, and system-level solutions.

Nicole McCormack completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Hampshire from 1992 to 1997. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1999 and 2002.
