Lara van Druten

Lara van Druten currently serves as a Member of the National Advisory Board on Export Finance at the Ministerie van Financiën since December 2023, while also holding the position of CEO at The Waste Transformers since January 2012. Additionally, Lara is a Member of the Advisory Board to the United Nations on Zero Waste, a role initiated in May 2023, and an Unreasonable Fellow since November 2018, contributing to solutions for pressing social and environmental challenges. Active in various sectors, Lara is a Member of the Supervisory Board at PWN and Dar NV, and serves on the Board of Advisors for Odqa Renewable Energy Technologies. A Brand Ambassador for NEMO Science Museum since April 2016, Lara has previously chaired both the Joke Waller Hunter Initiative and BothEnds. Educational qualifications include institutions such as the University of Amsterdam and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
