Hasnain Akber has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Hasnain started their career as an Intern at Unilever in 2012, where they gained knowledge in warehouse processes and inventory management. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an Assistant Manager Communications at ChildLife Foundation. In 2017, they joined Careem as a Supply Associate. Hasnain then moved to Telenor in 2019, where they served as a Segments Executive. Later that year, they joined Daraz as a Regional Strategy and Planning Analyst, responsible for analyzing and improving logistic costs and customer promise times. In 2021, Hasnain co-founded and became the CEO of OkayKer, a tech-enabled platform for car spares and repairs in Pakistan. There, they successfully raised venture capital funding, built a team, developed and launched products, and gained a significant number of clients. Currently, they are back at Daraz as the Manager of Demand Planning and Forecasting.

Hasnain Akber attended Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics. Prior to their university education, they attended Karachi Grammar School, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In 2013, Hasnain Akber also obtained a certification in Basic Life Support from Rescue 1122.
