Kamran Ullah Sharif

Kamran Ullah Sharif has a diverse range of experience in the field of data science and software development. Kamran started their career in 2014 as a Technical Team Lead at Mavenzo. In this role, they demonstrated leadership skills and successfully managed a team.

In 2015, Kamran joined Pakistan Data Management Services as a Software Developer. During their time there, they contributed to the development of software solutions.

In 2017, Kamran joined NexDegree as a Data Scientist. Kamran worked in this role until 2019, gaining valuable experience in data analysis and interpretation.

Since 2019, Kamran has been working at Daraz, where they have held two positions. Kamran started as a Data Scientist and later transitioned into the role of Lead Data Scientist. At Daraz, Kamran played a crucial role in introducing machine learning solutions and implementing statistical and deep learning algorithms. Kamran successfully improved search recall and developed a Product Knowledge Graph using graph neural networks, resulting in increased conversions and revenue.

Throughout their career, Kamran has demonstrated expertise in data science, software development, and team leadership.

Kamran Ullah Sharif completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, spanning from 2010 to 2014. Kamran then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the Institute of Business Administration, which they completed between 2016 and 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Kamran Ullah Sharif has obtained several certifications. In May 2016, they received a certification in "Intro to Hadoop" from Udacity. Kamran also holds a certification in "Machine Learning" from Coursera Course Certificates, obtained in April 2016. Furthermore, in May 2023, they obtained the "AWS Certified Developer – Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
