Khondoker Tasfin Alam has extensive work experience in various roles in the telecommunications industry. Khondoker is currently the Managing Director at HungryNaki since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Daraz BD from September 2018.
From May 2016 to September 2018, Khondoker worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Ranks ITT, RanksTel & Softex, where they oversaw and managed the technology portfolio of Rangs Group in three SBOs.
Before that, they held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Ranks Telecom Limited from May 2016 to September 2018.
From June 2013 to March 2016, Khondoker served as the Head of Quality of Service at Banglalink, where they monitored the performance of the network and analyzed network issues. Khondoker also held the role of Performance Manager-Head of Performance Management from April 2010 to June 2013, where they were responsible for monitoring network quality and generating KPI based reporting.
Khondoker has also gained experience as a Talent Management Participant at Orascom Telecom Holdings from September 2009 to March 2010. During this time, they prepared budgets for subsidiaries/OpCos and conducted studies to reduce operational expenses.
Furthermore, Khondoker worked as a Radio Engineering Consultant at Alfa-Lebanon from April 2009 to September 2009. Their responsibilities included KPI designing, dimensioning, parameter tuning, and performance auditing.
Additionally, they participated in talent management programs at WIND Mobile from November 2008 to April 2009, where they worked in the planning and dimensioning team of the Radio Engineering Department. Khondoker defined dimensioning rules for 2G and 3G networks.
Khondoker also gained experience as a Talent Management Participant at Orascom Telecom Algeria-Djezzy from June 2008 to October 2008. Khondoker set up SS7 dimensioning rules, designed and dimensioned PCU, and generated PCU-related KPIs.
Khondoker Tasfin Alam completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology in the years 2000 to 2003. Khondoker then pursued the Young Professional Development Program at the London Business School from 2008 to 2010, where they gained knowledge in various areas including Management, Strategic Planning, Decision Making, Marketing, and Finance. Finally, in 2010 to 2011, they attended the Institute of Business Administration and earned their Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing.
