Samra Shabbir has a diverse work experience. In 2017, they served as a Trainee at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan, where they were involved in the implementation of a network structured cabling project and managed an international conference. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as an IT Executive Officer at Daraz, where they defined technical support best practices and ensured project quality control. Starting in 2020, they joined Daraz again, first as a Regional Project Manager and then as an Information Security Program Manager. In these roles, they oversaw various projects, including IT restructuring, digital transformation, and the deployment of security tools. Samra managed cyber security risks, resolved incidents, and collaborated with IT functions, business users, and vendors.
