Seemal Tariq Mian

Seemal Tariq Mian has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Seemal currently works at Daraz as the Head of Transformation and Culture, a role they have held since July 2022. Prior to that, they were the Regional HRBP Commercial for Daraz (Ali Baba Group) from November 2020 to September 2022.

Before joining Daraz, Seemal worked at Khaadi SMC Pvt. Ltd. as the HRBP Commercial Pakistan from July 2019 to November 2020. Seemal'sresponsibilities included managing human resources and business partnerships.

Seemal also served as the Assistant Manager Learning & Development at ICI Pakistan Limited from July 2017 to July 2019, where they were responsible for implementing learning and development programs.

Seemal gained experience as an External OD Consultant at Inspectest (Pvt.) Ltd/Descon from July 2016 to July 2017, where they provided expertise in organizational development.

Seemal started their career as an intern at PepsiCo in June 2014, working in the Human Resources department for two months. Seemal also had a brief role at MCB Bank Limited as a Senior Associate in Learning and OD in 2013.

Seemal worked as a Training and Development Officer at NetSol Technologies Inc. from 2012 to 2013, where they focused on training and development initiatives.

During their time in AIESEC from December 2009 to May 2012, Seemal held the position of Team Leader, overseeing incoming and outgoing exchange programs.

Seemal also gained experience as an intern in marketing and communication roles at Avanceon Middle East & South Asia and Pakistan Today in 2011 and 2010, respectively.

Seemal Tariq Mian completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Politics from Lahore University of Management Sciences in the years 2008 to 2012. Seemal then pursued a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from New York University from 2014 to 2016. Later, Seemal Tariq Mian obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Lahore University of Management Sciences, completing it in the year 2017.
