Thilina Abayasingha

Thilina Abayasingha has a wide range of work experience in various roles and companies. Thilina started their career as a Fund Administrator at HSBC Global Banking and Markets in 2012 and later transitioned to become a Support Analyst. In 2017, they joined Moody's Analytics as an Analyst before moving on to Elyon Management (Pvt) Ltd in 2018, where they served as an Assistant Manager Strategy. In 2020, Thilina joined Daraz as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and later became the Head of Strategy and Operational Planning in 2023.

Thilina Abayasingha holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Colombo. Thilina also obtained a Diploma in Applied Banking and Finance from the Institute of Bankers Sri-Lanka between 2014 and 2017. In addition, Thilina completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Management (International Business) from Northerwood Business School in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Higher National Diploma in Business Management from EDEXCEL between 2012 and 2014. Currently, their education history shows that they are pursuing a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics from Robert Gordon University.
