Umer Khalil began their work experience as a Finance Intern at Chevron in June 2017. Umer then moved on to work as a Media Planning Intern at Adcom Zenithoptimedia in August 2017. From May 2018 to October 2019, Umer worked as an Associate Media Planner at Adcom Zenithoptimedia, where they handled multiple clients and was responsible for planning campaigns across various media channels.

In October 2019, Umer joined foodpanda as a Junior Campaigns Associate - Marketing Executive, where they created brand campaigns and drove media key performance indicators. Umer then moved up to the position of Senior Associate-Performance Marketing, CRM & ATL in October 2020, where they structured an integrated marketing communication approach and achieved high performance and customer engagement metrics.

Most recently, Umer worked as the Lead - Performance Marketing & CRM at foodpanda, starting in March 2022. In this role, they managed a portfolio of over $7 million and successfully drove business key performance indicators.

In 2023, Umer will join Daraz as an Online Marketing Manager.

Umer Khalil's education history begins with their completion of Matriculation in Computer Science at Bai Virbaiji Soparivala Parsi High School. Following this, they attended Aga Khan Higher Secondary School in Karachi from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained their Intermediate degree in Commerce. Umer then enrolled at the Institute of Business Management, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from 2013 to 2018. Lastly, they furthered their education at the same institute where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing from 2019 to 2021.
