Istehsan Abbas

Istehsan Abbas is an accomplished data and analytics professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the technology and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as the Global Head of Data at Daraz since June 2022, Istehsan has excelled in generating data insights and maintaining high team efficiency. Previously, as Senior Manager of Data Science at Afiniti, Istehsan managed multiple accounts generating over $1M in monthly revenue, leading a team of data professionals. Earlier roles at TEOCO and Aircom International involved significant contributions to data analytics, customer experience, and business intelligence, including the establishment of data warehouses and regional analytics management across the MEA region. Istehsan began a career in data at Telenor as a Data Specialist, focusing on mobile data initiatives. Istehsan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
