Jonathan Mele

Jonathan Mele is a seasoned professional in the power and utilities sector, currently serving as Vice President/Group Director and Research Director at Darcy Partners since February 2022, where responsibilities include delivering technology scouting and innovation advisory services with a focus on emerging technologies such as Edge DERMS/VPPs, Grid DERMS, and electric vehicle-grid integration. Prior to this, Jonathan held a managerial position at EY from June 2019 to February 2022, supporting electric utilities in their digital transformation programs, and worked at Exelon from January 2016 to May 2019, focusing on DER integration and power system modeling. Earlier experiences include engineering roles at Pepco, Atlantic City Electric, and internships at Honeywell and Gilbane Building Company. Jonathan holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Georgetown University, a Master of Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
