Lennart Huijbers

Lennart Huijbers has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Lennart started their career as an Administrative Assistant at SynTecMed B.V., where they handled clerical activities and assisted with consulting projects.

Lennart then worked at Lux Research Inc., initially as a Strategic Sales Intern, where they developed an assessment tool to quantify and benchmark the use of open innovation in companies. Lennart later became a Business Development Analyst and subsequently a Client Engagement Manager, responsible for managing client relations and providing strategic advice in emerging technologies.

Following their time at Lux Research, Lennart founded OnTheUp, a business development advisory firm that supported startups in building momentum and accelerating their business growth. Lennart provided sales-as-a-service and business development expertise on a project basis.

Lennart later joined Sobolt, an early-stage startup, as the Head of Business Development. Lennart led the business development team and focused on turning technical capabilities into value propositions. Sobolt used remote sensing and machine learning algorithms to analyze satellite data for object recognition, mapping, and analysis.

Lennart then joined Darcy Partners, where they held multiple roles. Lennart started as a Client Relationship Manager, responsible for client engagement and ensuring the delivery of sustained value to clients. Lennart then became the Client and Operations Director, overseeing the client management and event operations teams. In this role, they were commercially responsible for a portfolio of members in the North-American onshore oil & gas production industry. Lennart also planned and executed technology forums on petro-technical, digital, and innovation strategy topics. Lastly, they served as the Director of the Power and Utility Program, leading the research team and evaluating emerging technology vendors in areas such as distributed energy resources, transportation electrification, energy storage, and drones.

Throughout their career, Lennart has also been involved in volleyball, both as a professional player and a trainer/coach. Lennart played volleyball in the highest Dutch league and has coached teams at various clubs and talent development programs.

Lennart Huijbers pursued their education in chronological order. Lennart earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Studies from the University of Amsterdam, from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business and Economics, also at the University of Amsterdam, from 2005 to 2009. Earlier, from 1999 to 2005, Lennart attended Keizer Karel College in Amstelveen, where they obtained a VWO - Gymnasium degree with a focus on Economics & Society.
