Mark Decourcy

Mark DeCourcy serves as the Director of Risk Management at NJ TRANSIT, overseeing governance across multiple risk domains for one of the largest transit systems in the United States. Previously, Mark held the same position at MBTA, managing risks related to a significant transit system while maintaining a vast asset base. Throughout Mark's career, experience includes senior underwriting roles at AIG and Liberty Mutual, focusing on environmental casualty and property and casualty insurance, respectively. Mark co-founded Organic Waste Management, implementing innovative waste solutions and optimizing logistics to reduce costs significantly. Mark's military background includes service as a Reservist in the US Navy. Academically, Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University and an MBA from Suffolk University.
