William Joyce

Power Operations Analyst at Dare

William Joyce has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. William started their career with a work placement at Deloitte Digital in 2014. William then worked as a chemistry A-level tutor at TutorTutor and served as a publicity officer at Bristol Volunteers for Development Abroad (BVDA), where they implemented various campaigns to attract volunteers and raise awareness about sustainable development. In 2018, they interned at Tradeweb. In 2019, they joined Young & Co Brewery as a front of house team member. In 2020, they completed a course on Python and SQL for data analysis at Codecademy and worked as a research assistant at Warmer Communications. Additionally, they held two roles at So Energy, first as a customer care advisor from 2020 to 2021 and later as an operations analyst from 2021 to 2022. Most recently, they worked as a commercial insights analyst at Great Western Railway (GWR) from 2022 to 2023. William is currently employed at Dare as a power operations analyst, starting in June 2023.

William Joyce has a diverse education history. From 2008 to 2013, they attended Orleans Park School, where they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study. William then attended Esher College from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained A levels in Spanish (A*), Chemistry (A), Maths (A*), and Biology (A*). Following this, from 2015 to 2019, William pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemistry at the University of Bristol. As part of their studies, they also attended Universidad de Salamanca from 2017 to 2018, although they did not obtain a specific degree. Additionally, William has obtained several certifications, including a "Fundamentals of SQL" certification from Systematix Training in August 2022, a "SQL for Data Science" certification from edX in December 2021, an "edX Verified Certificate for SQL for Data Science" from edX in December 2021, and a "Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate" certification from Microsoft in September 2022.
